We will be carrying out resurfacing and widening works on the towpath between Piggery Bridge (Bridge 12) and Hazel Grove Footbridge (Bridge 11aa). This will increase the amount of space for all users and improve the condition of the towpath surface.
The works will require the contractors’ workboats to be moored alongside the towpath. In addition, the towpath is due to be excavated within close proximity of the canal edge. Therefore, towpath mooring is to be suspended along the length to ensure safe construction.

This will increase the amount of space for all users and improve the condition of the towpath surface. The works will require the contractors’ workboats to be moored alongside the towpath. In addition, the towpath is due to be excavated within close proximity of the canal edge. Therefore, towpath mooring is to be suspended along the length to ensure safe construction. Winter moorings will be unaffected. |

We will be carrying out resurfacing and widening works on the Paddington Arm's towpath. This will increase the amount of space for all users and improve the condition of the towpath surface.
The works will require workboats to be moored alongside the towpath. In addition, the towpath is due to be excavated within close proximity of the canal edge. Therefore, towpath mooring is to be suspended between Piggery Bridge and Hazel Grove Footbridge from 14 March to 14 April 2017. Winter moorings will be unaffected.
