Adjacent to Bridge 34, Branston Road bridge, Branston

CLM Contractors on behalf of Amey are continuing to install the new bridge over the Trent & Mersey Canal. In order to successfully complete the works, they now require boats within the navigation to assist with the works. This means that the navigation will be temporarily restricted to single traffic under the new bridge.

The towpath & navigation will remain open although short delays may be encountered during the lifts. Banksman and signage will be present to safely manage members of the public and canal traffic during the works.
