"I’m the head at a local school for children with special needs and as a PE teacher I know what a difference it makes to the kids when they get outside and get active. My work is very rewarding but like everyone I’d love to have more time to spend with the family. In today’s busy world it’s so important to make the most of the precious spare time you have, doing things together and most importantly have fun.
We all love living here and it’s a great place to bring up children; they have the space and the freedom to play outside with their friends. We’re an active family; the kids are both scouts and love canoeing and fishing - we even made our own rods last week!
Things have changed a lot since we were growing up, but we try our best to give the kids the same outdoorsy upbringing that we had. They’ve got tablets and games consoles, but with all this on our doorstep, they’d rather be outside."
