We love and care for your canals and rivers, because everyone deserves a place to escape.

Help us to 'Clean for The Queen'

Her Majesty the Queen will be celebrating her 90th birthday this year. We’re joining with Keep Britain Tidy and a number of other organisations to get the country spruced up in time for the celebrations.

Clean for The Queen is a campaign which will address the growing problem of litter on our streets, in our countryside and around our canals and rivers.

When Her Majesty first came to the throne we did not suffer today’s menace of discarded bottles, food packaging, takeaways and the various other paraphernalia which blights not only our surroundings but also our sense of national pride.

We want to clean up the county as a tribute to the Queen and also to ensure that we can all fully appreciate the beautiful outdoor spaces we have right on our doorstep.

We asked everyone who loves spending time on our canals and rivers to join in and do their bit to help us on the 4, 5 and 6 March 2016.

These events are now finished, and we hope to bring you photos from the weekend soon. In the meantime, please take a look at our additional volunteer opportunities that are linked to Clean for the Queen.
