We’re asking all boaters to stay gas safe by getting on-board gas appliances checked by a Gas Safe registered engineer, to protect from the danger of fires, explosions and carbon monoxide poisoning.

Boating is supposed to be one the fastest ways to slow down, relax and unwind. Sadly, some people cause problems for the rest of us by speeding past moored craft or creating a breaking wash, which causes damage to the canal and river banks, and harms wildlife. We’d like everyone to keep calm and slow down past moored boats, take it easy and be considerate.
