The Line

We're proudly supporting The Line, a charity who share our commitment to bringing the benefits of spending time by water to urban areas.

The Line is a free public art walk in London. It runs between The O2 and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, following the waterways and the line of the Greenwich Meridian.

Featuring an evolving programme of art installations, projects and events, The Line illuminates an inspiring landscape where everyone can explore art, nature and heritage for free. It takes about three hours to complete the entire route on foot, or visit different sections on different days. The changing seasons and tides mean no two visits are the same.

Olympian Christine Ohurougu highlights the health and wellbeing benefits of spending time on The Line.

The Line is yours to explore. If you're local to London, why not make it a part of your regular commuting route or use it as a place to exercise?

We've been supporting The Line in various ways since its inception in 2014, and are proud to have our waterways featured in this unique project.

We'll be sharing more news about how we're working with The Line in the near future.

In the meantime, you can explore The Line with the free Bloomberg Connects app, available from the App Store or Google Play.

The app can help you discover more about history, nature and architecture as Bill Nighy takes you on a guided tour of the route. You'll also hear directly from the artists talking in-depth about their work, and immerse yourself in the mindfulness guides with three guided meditations inspired by The Line.

For younger art enthusiasts, there's also Make The Line. A free downloadable kids’ activity pack produced and inspired by the artists.
