Find out more about The Big Green Draw and learn how you can get involved.
The Big Draw is the world's largest drawing festival. It's an annual event that shines a light on the need for drawing - which is making a mark with meaning, and celebrates all the ways we can use art to express ourselves and share ideas.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the festival, the theme this year is The Big Green Draw: a climate of change. As the guardians of over 2,000 miles of waterways, we know how important it is to look after the world around us. That's why we're encouraging everyone to join in and use the power of art to start important conversations about the relationships between people and the environment.
Artist Emma Fitzpatrick tells us why canals and rivers are some of her favourite places to sketch.
Learn more about traditional canal art, Roses and Castles, and how it was inspired by the Victorian's love of nature.
