We love and care for your canals and rivers, because everyone deserves a place to escape.

Friends of The Canal Museum at Stoke Bruerne

The Friends of The Canal Museum are a registered charity set up in 2006 to support the work of The Canal Museum at Stoke Bruerne through volunteer effort and fundraising.

Most members live locally and are passionate about maintaining and preserving our waterways heritage, particularly that of Northamptonshire.

The Friends assist staff voluntarily with caring for the museum boat Sculptor and items in the collection, research and devising new displays, working with visitors and schools, and giving talks and demonstrations of canal crafts.
