George's Historic Halloween

As part of the Window on the World project George is back at the National Waterways Museum before she sets off in her traditional historic setting on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal next year. Whilst she is here, she is the central focus of our Halloween activity.

This Halloween we are inviting families to take part in Halloween activties around the site:

  • take part in the Pumpkin trail around the site
  • construct a coal spider and hear a spooky story
  • book on a boat trip

Activities suitable for all ages.

Window on the World is a Heritage Lottery Fund project run by staff and volunteers at the National Waterways Museum. Interpreting Ellesmere Port’s historic slipway for the first time and securing the future of two boats in the Trust’s national collection.  Discover more about George's journey for 2017 here.
