Community celebration organised by Regent’s Canal Heritage in partnership with the Lower Regent’s Coalition to mark the day in 1820 when the Regent’s Canal was officially opened east of King’s Cross
Both days will have: a large Canal Heritage exhibition with iphotos, maps and stories from local people; an exhibition of artworks inspired by the canal; art workshops for all ages, film shows, story telling.
1 August will have boat trips, pond dipping; carnival costumes; stalls from canal related organisations and community groups; East End Women's Institute tea bar; entertainment from local residents.
