This walk along the restored Pocklington Canal takes place on the third Wednesday of every month.
Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Pocklington Canal on this free organised walk run by our volunteer walk leaders. These walks are part of the Heritage Lottery Supported ‘A Gem in the Landscape’ project on this canal.
Note that the towpath is a broad grassy track, and does gets muddy in wet weather. Please wear sensible footwear. Dogs on leads are welcome.
Meeting point: Melbourne Arm Moorings – please park on the Main Street in the village and walk along the private road next to the Melbourne Arm pub to get to the meeting point (alongside the moored boats).
