Join this guided walk from Canal Head along the disused section of the Pocklington Canal. During 2019 this walk takes place on the first Sunday of every month.
Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Pocklington Canal on this free organised walk run by our volunteer walk leaders. These walks are part of the Heritage Lottery Supported ‘A Gem in the Landscape’ project on this canal.
Note that the towpath is a broad grassy track, and does gets muddy in wet weather. Please wear sensible footwear. Dogs on leads are welcome.
Meeting point: Information Centre at Canal Head. There is car parking at Canal Head, look for the picnic site brown signs off the A1079 opposite the Wellington Oak (disused) pub).
