Come and join the party taking place at Victoria Quays on Friday 22 February.
60,000 people turned up to watch the very first boats arriving into the heart of the city on this brand new canal back in 1819. To celebrate the bicentenary of the Sheffield & Tinsley Canal we’re having a day-long party.
Bare Project - The Story Swap Cafe (200th Birthday Edition)
Join us for an interactive installation which focusses on the next 200 years of the canal as well as the memories and oral history of the canal today. There will be two recording booths to record your ideas and stories about what the canal could be like, or archive your personal memories of the canal.

Enjoy family friendly activities including time travelling tours with actors bringing the canal’s past to life, craft activities and more. Join the Rusticus Time Travelling Adventure at 11.15am, 12.15pm or 2.15pm/ Meet the professor, a time-travelling adventurer and a host of other characters as you travel around the quays.
