Come along to the fourth annual Leigh Canal Festival for a free fun family day out.
Back for another year, the Leigh Canal Festival will be showcasing N.C.B George, a rare survivor of the early 20th Century waterways, and a whole host of other activities that all the family can enjoy.
One of the last remaining wooden horse-drawn 'short' boats from Leeds & Liverpool Canal, will be here as a floating educational and visitor centre.
Other key attractions
This year the festival will take place at Leigh Miners Welfare Institute off Kirby Street with new temporary access points being provided on to the towpath for duration of the festival.
