One of Shakespeare’s most-loved comedies, Twelfth Night is a tale of unrequited love – hilarious and heartbreaking.  When a devastating storm separates and shipwrecks twins Olivia and Sebastian on the island of Illyria, they must do their best to carve out a new life in a strange land, each believing the other twin has perished.

Assuming the guise of ”Caesario”, one of the pair, Viola, falls in love with the renowned Count Orsino...who in turn dotes on Olivia...who falls for the disguised Viola, but is – at the same time – idolised by Malvolio.

Enter Sebastian – a handsome young man who is the image of his twin sister – and things will only get more complicated before they can finally align.

As this is an outdoor production, please check the weather forecast and come suitably prepared, whether that means sun cream, waterproofs and jumpers.

7pm Tickets £9.50 Tickets can be bought at the museum reception or ring 0151 355 5017.  Tickets can also be bought from eventbrite.
