Be one the first to cross our newly modified Georgian designed swing bridge on this event, supported through the Heritage Lottery Fund.  Rusticus theatrical company will be leading entertaining walks with actors playing characters from the canal’s history, whilst Eco Sapien’s Victorian Naturalist will be taking us back in time from the wildlife’s point of view. The New Horizons trip boat will be running all day, and you’ll have the chance to get onto the water aboard a coracle (or kayak). There will be lots of stalls to browse around the Melbourne Arm, as well as fairground activities for the little ones.

This event is being jointly run by the Canal & River Trust Project Team and the Pocklington Canal Amenity Society.
