Nottingham & Beeston Canal
This year we’re delighted that Nancy Campbell, the new canal laureate will be joining us to perform a new poem about the Nottingham-Beeston canal, and stories from the waterway will be brought to life.
Climb aboard a narrowboat for a twilight trip along the canal and be part of the waterfall installation, StarGate by Andy McKeown – upload a selfie to Instagram with #NLN2018me by 20 February for the chance of seeing your face projected on water. Additional boat trips will be running on Saturday 24 February.
All boat trips must be booked in advance. Book your ticket here - Nottingham Narrowboat storytelling
There’s plenty of mooring space so if you’re in the area why not bring along and illuminate your boat – there will be a prize awarded to the best decorated boat.
Enchanted Water is a collaboration between Nottingham City Council, Nottingham Trent University, Beeston Canalside Heritage Centre and Canal & River Trust.
