Foxton Locks once again plays host to a very special Christmas event, fast becoming a regular on our waterways calendar - the Foxton Illuminated Festival.
This year, a huge water fountain forms the centre piece of activities including bars, food stalls, music, theatre performances, fair ground and of course our stunning illuminated canal boats. And of course, the best dressed boat will win our prestigeous Foxton Illuminated cup!
Due to the overwhelming success of last year, we are holding this year’s event over two days, numbers will be limited so this year’s event will be ticket entry only:
As well as favourites such as the fair ground, food stalls and bar, you'll find entertainment for everyone right across the site.

All parking for the vent will be at the Show Ground on Gallows Road. Please do not park in near-by villages as this will cause traiffic problems.
There’ll be a park and ride from the show ground, running from 1.30pm to 9.00pm to the Foxton Locks site, which will be a short 5 – 10 minute bus ride.
And remember - as the event is an outdoor event please bring warm water proof clothing and sturdy shoes!
Due to the need to use the park and ride service, we are very sorry to say that dogs cannot come to Foxton Illuminated Boat Festival this year.
Guide dogs are welcome - if you need to bring your guide dog, please contact the event organisers so we can arrange a disabled parking space for you, email:firstname.lastname@example.org
