This summer we are hosting a series of fun #PlasticPatrol clean ups across the country, so there’s plenty of opportunity to get involved and show your support.

The programme is being led by adventurer Lizzie Carr, who recently paddle boarded across the English Channel and who, last year, was the first person to paddle board the length of England’s inland waterways, to highlight the problem of plastic pollution.

Come along and help make a difference either from aboard a paddle board or from the towpath.

Anyone can turn up and take part in the clean-up events.  However to get afloat and take part in the paddle boarding, participants must be 16 years or older.

Visit plasticpatrol.co.uk for further details of the events, including how to register.

To join our regular volunteering groups and help keep our canals and rivers clean and tidy, please visit our Towpath Taskforce page.
