Visitors are invited to our free open weekend. Take a look inside one of the drained locks and walk along the bottom of the lock chamber, learn about the works we’re doing to repair the flight at Stoke Bruerne from the Trust’s experts and volunteers. Works taking place here involve replacing a number of wooden lock gates that have come to the end of their life.
Activities over the weekend include:
A vintage bus will provide a park and ride facility from the Elizabeth Woodville School in Roade.
For our younger visitors there will be an educational trail, with a chance to collect stickers at a range of activities.
Please note, last entry into the lock will be 3:30pm
