2.6 Banner Join the #TwoPointSixChallenge

The nation’s much loved London Marathon on 26 April was postponed following the Government guidelines to keep the nation safe at these uncertain times. This is your chance to be a Home Hero and take part in the #TwoPointSixChallenge to raise funds for us or your chosen charity from your very own living room, balcony or garden.

How can I get involved?

The challenge is open to everyone and all ages. All you need to do is choose an activity based around the numbers 2.6 or 26 and start fundraising for us.

Will you join the nationwide virtual challenge and raise funds for us from your very own living room, balcony or garden?

The limit is your imagination

No matter your age, ability or talents there are so many things you can do. You could take 26 hops around your house, dance to your favorite music for 26 minutes or even bake 26 identical cakes in 2.6 hours.

Simply get your thinking cap on and set yourself a unique challenge following the steps below. The challenge can last for a week.

  1. Set yourself an activity based around the number 2.6 or 26
  2. Set up your personalised JustGiving page
  3. Share your challenge on social media by tagging @CanalRiverTrust and using #TwoPointSixChallenge
  4. Nominate a friend to take on the 2.6 challenge

Whichever challenge you choose, the funds you raise will make a huge difference to us and your waterways.

Government guidelines

The 2.6 Challenge is open to everyone. The only requirement is that the activity must follow the Government guidelines on exercise and social distancing. Please remember to stay local.
