The awesome Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is situated right on the doorstep of our picturesque base on the Llangollen Canal. We also offer day boats from £120 for up to 10 people and holiday boats ranging from 2-12 berths (people).
We also offer skippered boat trips across the UNESCO World Heritage Poncysyllte Aqueduct aboard 'Little Star' ('Seren Fach' in Welsh). The 45-minute return trips take visitors along the Llangollen Canal and across the 38-metre high historic aqueduct, to experience amazing views across the Dee Valley. Anglo Welsh’s knowledgeable team provides commentary on board, so you can learn about the aqueduct and the history of the Llangollen Canal as you cruise gently along. Refreshments are available to purchase on board, so you can relax with a hot or cold drink, or an ice-cream.
‘Little Star’ offers space for up to 48 passengers. Adult tickets are priced at £10 each, children (aged under 16) are priced at £6. Family tickets for two adults and two children are priced at £25 each. We offer 10% discount on group bookings of 10 or more and bespoke trips for groups of 20 or more.
