Phil Pickin: Waterways Photographer & Features Writer.

I am a Senior Contributor to Towpath Talk and a professional freelance photographer and features writer covering a wide range of subject areas, including the inland waterways, sustainable boating, green energy and wildlife conservation, I now look to merge these subject areas and as a result, I'm now increasingly covering sustainable boating subjects together with nature and environmental stories.

Much of my photographic work is offered as stock photography exclusively by Alamy, I also carry out commercial commissions together with blog content and PR services for a number of commercial clients.

Clients include Towpath Talk, Bird Watching, Waterways World, Metro.co.uk, The Daily Mail, SWNS, and the Canal and River Trust and I'm also proud to be working with the British Trust for Ornithology. The BBC has also used my work within its Countryfile program, The Ramblers Association, Vine House Farm, Drifters Waterways, and many others have also used my images.

As well as being a member of many wildlife charities, I also hold an LRPS distinction awarded by the Royal Photographic Society and am a member of the National Union of Journalists.

You will find a number of links to my blog and social media accounts on my website.
