Waterways Experiences - Accessible Canal Boating For All

Waterways Experiences - Accessible Canal Boating For All

We operate the only passenger boats on the southern Grand Union Canal which are both wide-beam and purpose-built to provide access and comfort for people with mobility or other difficulties.

Our mission is to enable people who are disadvantaged to experience the canals in a safe and supportive environment.  Special low rates are available for such groups.

We have two boats taking groups of up to 12 people and one accommodating up to 35 people.  All have comprehensively equipped kitchens for self-catering use.

We provide crew, but welcome help from passengers keen to help with lock operations.

Boats are also available on a self-drive basis but the skipper must have current RYA or other certification for helmsmanship on inland waterways.
