Weston Turville Reservoir SSSI

This reservoir feeds the Wendover arm of the Grand Union Canal, and is fringed by reed beds and wet woodland, supporting a variety of wildfowl. Species present include fan leaved water crowfoot, common reed, mudwort, orange foxtail and grey club rush.

Forty-six bird species have been recorded at the site, including shoveler, pochard, ruddy duck, water rail, reed warbler and nightingale, along with over 300 species of beetle.
