The Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal is often voted Britain's prettiest canal. Much of it runs through the Brecon Beacons National Park and follows the line of the lovely, wooded Usk Valley.
Diglis Basin, Diglis Road, Worcester, WR5 3BW
Diglis Basin is where the Worcester and Birmingham Canal meets the awesome River Severn. It's a great starting point for exploring the canal and river, and is just on the edge of the city of Worcester.
Saul Junction, Sandfield Bridge, Canal Bank, Saul, GL2 7LA
Saul Junction is where the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal meets the Stroudwater Canal and was a great meeting place for ships and crew, boats and boaters from around the world. Today the junction is still popular with boaters and there are many lovely walks along the idyllic waterways.
