We love and care for your canals and rivers, because everyone deserves a place to escape.

Share Your Pledge Day 2016

As part of National Volunteer's Week, we joined over 500 organisations to share our support for the #iwill campaign.

We want to play our part in making youth social action a part of life for more 10-20 year-olds around the UK. We believe it's important to encourage young people to take practical action in the service of others to create positive change.

This is why we took part in the #iwill campaign and we've been working with young volunteers all over the country to make a difference to their local communities.

Here are just a few things that took place on Share your Pledge Day 2016...

Cassie Ward, team leader for South Wales & Severn worked with Gloucester College to provide activities for the SEN students who were on a three-day residential course.

The volunteers did a great job of painting the fence led by Kris Burroughs from the Customer Operations Team.

The volunteers were able to make bird boxes to take home with the help of our own Malcolm Prosser.
