We are now able to complete the work required to Lock 27 without a full stoppage being in place.
The navigation is therefore open.
Description
The quoins require adjusting to allow easier use of the bottom gates. We were hoping to carry out the repairs during the winter of 2014/15, and have been monitoring the situation over the past 8 months. Unfortunately the lock has become increasingly difficult to operate leaving us little choice other than to complete the works now before the main cruising season.
