Bridge 26 Stanley Road Bridge To Bridge 27 Doles Bridge

Contractors working for Staffordshire County Council will be undertaking ground investigation works affecting the towpath adjacent to the Stanley Rd Bridge access (Bridge 26). The investigations will precede some towpath improvement works planned for the new year. The investigation will effectively close the towpath for a 5 day period, to ensure the safety of the general public whilst plant is on site. The closure will affect the towpath between bridge 26 (Stanley Rd) and bridge 27 (Doles Bridge). A diversion notice will be posted on site to direct towpath users around the works. The Canal & River Trust apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
