Earlswood Reservoirs bat box scheme
18 months ago we worked in partnership with Warwickshire Wildlife Trust and Earlswood Wildlife Partnership to attach over 100 bat boxes to the trees around Earlswood Reservoirs in the West Midlands. The aim of the project was to provide suitable habitats for bats, who rely on the on our waterways for their food and shelter. -
From old waterway lock gates to picnic benches, bird boxes and much more.....
Over the past six months we’ve been working with H.M. Prison Service and Fresh Start New Beginnings, a charity which works to reduce re-offending in the West Midlands, on a trial project to establish the benefits of prisoners recycling a proportion of our old lock gates. -
