We provide learning resources linked to the National Curriculum, trails, water safety sessions, ideas for badges, challenges and other activities.

Our education volunteers lead enjoyable and inspiring visits – in your classroom or meeting place and outdoors at your local canal or river.

All activities are linked to the National Curriculum or group badges and are free.

Volunteer with us

We're on the hunt for volunteers to help educate young people at local primary schools, Cub Scout and Brownie groups about the magic of their local waterways.

Volunteers will need to have experience of working with children and be able to commit to at least three or four days a month. We will provide training, resources and will offer continued supervision and support from our education coordinators.

Find more information about the role in our volunteering pages or contact us explorers@canalrivertrust.org.uk
